  14. I did not know it was a bit buggy but thanks for all your E-Mail
  15. telling me as I also found out some new bits that have been corrected
  16. in version 4.0.

  18. It's hard to predict every type of Modem and Amiga setup, but I have tried.

  27. The point of this set is to provide an easy entry for new Net surfers
  28. and people like me who want to get on with the minimum of fuss and 
  29. no need for a degree in Unix etc.
  30.  
  31. This set does not include an IRC client but you can get one from Aminet
  32. once your up and running as well as changing the supplied App's if need be
  33. when you are happy and confident.

  35. AmIRC, mFTP, mNews and MetaTool are all good App's available from Aminet.
  36. Read plenty of Amiga mag's for more info and reviews etc.

  39. Requirements:- (you are free to try it on a lower spec "Your on your own")

  44. The real world bare minimum for decent Net access and usage is an A1200
  45. with 2mb Fast ram (4mb in total) but you can use lower spec's but don't
  46. expect to use the top App's, fast modem speeds and see Web pages in all
  47. their glory.

  49. A MODEM "yes a modem or you could shout very load" (28.8 or 14.4)
  50.  
  51. OS 2.1 is the bare minimum any lower forget it. (OS 3.x recomended)
  52.  
  53. 2mb ram bare minimum 1mb chip + 1mb fast (4mb highly recomemded) 
  54.  
  55. Hard drive with about 3mb free (you will some more for your downloads etc) 
  56.  
  57. 020 CPU or above (on lower machines, should work but slow)

  59. MUI 3.3 (on Aminet and all good PD houses)

  61. Gif and Jpeg datatypes OS 3.x only (included in this set if you need them)

  63. A dialup Internet account with Dynamic IP Address assigning.
  64. (i.e. your ISP gives you one when you log on) "No Jokes"

  91. 7) UUdecoder/encoder (for News group binaries etc)

  93. 8) FastView (Graphic file viewer `very fast')

  95. 9) ZGif and jfif datatypes (OS 3.x only)

  99. 11) Plus lha and lzx archivers and ppMore text viewer

  101. 12) Most App's etc pre-set to work out of the box in the true Amiga fashion
  102.     (E-Mail needs your userID) with no need to answer loads of cryptic
  103.     questions and edit Startup-Sequences with various assigns etc.

  105. 13) No Script editing unless you've got an manky old Amiga (i.e. std A500) or
  106.     some realy strange setup. If so "Not my fault Matey".
